Team

I’m Machelle Noel, founder of the Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP). With a background in education, creative media, and youth advocacy, I understand how challenging it can be to engage today’s students while supporting their academic growth, decision-making skills, and overall well-being.

That’s why I created YGAP—to bridge the gap between real-world challenges and meaningful learning experiences. My work focuses on helping educators, parents, and youth leaders address topics like risk, financial awareness, and responsible gaming through storytelling, curriculum resources, and creative programs that truly connect with students.

Through YGAP, I provide:

  • Engaging books and ready-to-use educational resources
  • Youth-centered programs that spark discussion and critical thinking
  • Creative, media-driven approaches that meet students where they are
  • Practical tools that support long-term decision-making and life skills

I’m committed to creating impactful, accessible learning experiences that support educators and families while empowering young people to build confidence, think critically, and make informed choices.

My mission is to help youth play smart, stay safe, have fun, and make positive choices.
