Job Title: Gambling Awareness Educator & Content Creator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Gambling Awareness Educator and Content Creator to develop and deliver educational content that raises awareness about youth gambling risks, promotes digital responsibility, and supports healthy online habits. This role combines expertise in teaching, curriculum design, and media creation to engage students, families, and educators across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Content Development:
- Design age-appropriate lessons, videos, activity guides, and digital materials focused on gambling awareness, gaming literacy, and financial well-being.
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to align content with national standards, SEL frameworks, and digital literacy goals.
- Script and storyboard educational videos, animations, and short films that communicate key messages in an engaging and relatable way.
- Facilitation & Training:
- Lead virtual and in-person workshops, school presentations, and parent education sessions.
- Train educators and community leaders to integrate gambling awareness topics into their programs.
- Media & Content Creation:
- Create written, audio, and video content (e.g., explainer videos, children’s books, blogs, podcasts, YouTube or social media segments) that promote awareness and prevention.
- Host or appear in educational content as an on-camera talent, storyteller, or voice actor when needed.
- Community Engagement:
- Build partnerships with schools, youth programs, and parent organizations.
- Participate in conferences, panels, or public speaking engagements as a youth gambling awareness advocate.
- Research & Innovation:
- Stay informed on the latest trends in youth gambling, gaming mechanics (e.g., loot boxes, in-game purchases), and emerging digital risks.
- Evaluate program outcomes and provide input for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching, curriculum design, youth development, or media creation.
- Strong knowledge of youth gambling trends, digital wellness, gaming culture, or behavioral addiction preferred.
- Creative storytelling skills across written, visual, or digital formats.
- Strong public speaking, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video/audio editing platforms is a plus.
- Passion for educating youth, families, and educators on making safe and smart choices in today’s digital world.
